The Official Commentaries, produced by Professor Sir Roy Goode pursuant to Resolutions of the Cape Town Diplomatic Conference, and Resolutions of the Diplomatic Conferences of all subsequently concluded Protocols, were first published in 2002, and have since become the definitive guides to the Convention and its Protocols.
To promote research and scholarship of the Cape Town Convention and its Protocols, Sir Roy Goode has permitted the Cape Town Convention Academic Project to publish the text of the Official Commentaries, as well as Annotations to the Official Commentaries on this website.
